Leonurus Sibiricus truly deserves to be nicknamed Marihuanilla. This plant is quite popular in South America and Mexico for its pleasant flavor and extraordinary relaxing effect when consumed. Leonurus Sibiricus is commonly also known as Siberian Motherwort, Marihuanilla and/or Honeyweed.

Leonurus Sibiricus is an annual or biennial plant. Its stems can become 20 to 80 centimeters tall with long leaves. This plant grows best in stony, sandy grasslands or pine forests and is able to bloom from July to September. It is native to parts of central and southwest of Asia, for example China, Mongolia or Russia but can be also found in other countries worldwide.
