Leonotis Leonurus, also called Lion’s Tail or Wild Dagga is a perennial shrub local to southern Africa, Australia, Hawaii and U.S. state California. In African medicine it was a common remedy for several types of diseases from fever over snakebites to blood pressure. The cultivation of this plant by humans dates back to ancient times. Already at that time Wild Dagga plant was famous for its deeply relaxing effect on body and mind.
It is often claimed that there are related effects when smoked as marihuana. Studies also showed that this plant has a calming character and can help people with depressions, anxiety or a deficiency of dopamine.
